Gurpreet and Kelsey are one of my absolutely FAVORITES. As you’ll see while scrolling through their pictures, they are absolutely filled with joy and love and unequivocally were pure gems for me to photograph. Throughout the process of working with them I would say these two have become friends. I mean, what is there not to adore about these two humans?
They are college sweethearts who actually met in an accepted student’s college group on Facebook! They knew pretty quickly they really liked each other so made it official on their first date.
Fast forward to their engagement! These two host a really fun Friendsgiving every year and this time, decided to go out in DC the evening before. Gurpreet popped the question in front of all of their friends and loved ones and it was a PERFECTLY executed proposal.
I asked these two what their favorite part of their day was and this was the answer “This one is really tough but we both agree that for both of us, the BEST part was actually the end of the night. Closing out the best day ever with just the two of us (and you!!) was so special. It was a whirlwind of a day and taking just a few minutes to come together at the end for just us was amazing. It also gave us some of my absolute favorite pics from the day (helllooooo, dancing under the lights!!!). One of my other favorite moments was when the DJ played Dancing Queen and being surrounded by my girls singing my heart out. definitely a moment that will stick with me forever!”
The end of the night gave me goosebumps, if you are considering ending your night with a little solo photo session DO IT DO IT.
